Samsung introduced a couple new cameras today, one being the HMX-E10 1080p pocket camcorder, like the Flip Mino, with a swiveling lens. But the really exciting announcement was the other camera, a point-and-shoot called the ST80 that comes with Wi-Fi connectivity.

Built-in Wi-Fi is an increasingly popular feature in cameras, and there are even Eye-Fi SD memory cards that come embedded with Wi-Fi capabilities. The Samsung ST80 uses its Wi-Fi connection to upload pictures quickly and easily.

"We want to let people share their favorite pictures quickly while they're on the move, and the ST80 does just that," said Sangjin Park, President of the Digital Imaging Business, Samsung Electronics, in a statement.

The wireless connection lets ST80 users share pictures without connecting to a computer. Over any Wi-Fi connection, the camera can email photos and video or upload them directly to sites such as Facebook, Picasa, YouTube, Photo Bucket and more.

Even more convenient, the ST80 comes with an account with mobile hotspot provider Boingo. That means the camera can automatically connect to 120,000 Wi-Fi hotspots around the world, in addition to any open Wi-Fi hotspots.

The ST80 includes 3x optical zoom, 3-inch touchscreen display on the back and a 14 megapixel sensor. It can shoot high-definition video at 30 frames per second.
