2. Agriculture – Forestry – Fishery:
Farming: mainly planting rice, green stuff, beans
+ Rice 15/15ha, productivity 33 metric tons/1ha, output 49.5 tons
+ Green Stuff: 5.5/3.5ha, productivity 100 metric quintals/1ha, output 55 tons
+ Peanut: 2/2ha, productivity 28 metric quintals/1ha, output 5.6 tons
Breeding: mainly cows and pigs. There are 26 cattle raising families (including 24 cow raising ones and 2 pig raising ones)
Aquaculture: total value reaches VND90mil yearly
3. Service - Tourism
Buu Hoa has one market with more than 200 small traders. The total sales gains VND50bil yearly
4. Culture – Sports – Education – Public Health
Culture – sports:
The ward’s radio station has made a good job of popularizing laws, policies and guidelines of the Party and the State to people from all walks of life. Sports festivals are yearly organized. Residents are encouraged to build cultural lifestyles.
Education: There are Buu Hoa Kindergarten, Tran Van on Elementary School and Ngo Gia Tu Secondary School and 1 community learning centre. The rate of illiteracy gradually decreases
Public health: the ward’s public health station and general clinic has 9 staff including doctors and nurses. Children are vaccinated monthly and around 400 turns of people come to have check-ups. Besides, the sector in coordination with relevant sectors launches sanitation and epidemic and environmental prevention programs, inpects food safety and encourages residents to use clean water.
